We are an outstanding school located in the Thurrock area of Essex, and we are looking for an English Teacher to join our wonderful team from September.

Our Head Teacher is looking to recruit a creative, passionate, and ambitious English Teacher / English ECT who is keen to progress throughout the Secondary School. You will be teaching KS3, 4 & 5 pupils who demonstrate good behavior, thanks to a proactive and driven SLT.

JOB DESCRIPTION
1. English Teacher/ English ECT
2. Teaching KS3, 4 & 5 - KS5 is optional depending on ability/confidence
3. Bespoke ECT induction: Mentor, additional training, aims & objectives, and lesson observations
4. Inspiring young minds and raising attainment throughout the Music Department
5. Permanent Post - September 2025
6. MPS1 - UPS3
7. Located in Thurrock/ Essex
PERSON SPECIFICATION
1. Must have UK QTS or be in the process of obtaining
2. Good academics required: GCSE, A Level & Degree
3. Must be willing to work alongside a large team of English Teachers
4. You must be a team player, willing to support every teacher within the School
5. Must be graded 'Good or Outstanding' in lesson observations - Or in line with the 8 Teaching Standards
