The ideal candidate will excel at leading teams, managing resources and delivering projects on time, within scope and budget.
The Powering Our Future programme is a new and ambitious long-term vision for the future of Stockton-on-Tees. This is a new way of working for the Council which will see us work with our partners and communities to put in place new and innovative approaches. This will allow us to focus on early intervention, prevention and efficiency reshaping what we do for the better and in the best interests of our residents.

This role will play a key part in the design and delivery of key projects that form the Council’s Powering our Future Programme. You will oversee multiple projects across various disciplines and manage effective delivery using proven project management tools. This will include management of key milestones, resources, risks/issues, interdependencies, governance arrangements, and where appropriate, stakeholder engagement.
The role will involve being a champion for change, upholding programme standards and methodology at all stages, providing challenge and support at all levels of the organisation.
