This is a temporary Bank Support Worker role at Walcott House, part of Elysium Healthcare's Learning Disability and Autism division. The role involves providing care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and autism, using your knowledge and skills to help them on their recovery pathway. The job also requires a UK Driver's Licence to act as a driver.
Main duties of the job
As a Bank Support Worker, you will join an inclusive and supportive team that works together to provide care to people with Learning Disabilities and Autism. Your day-to-day duties will include ward rounds, analyzing behaviors and adapting care accordingly, updating patient records, and providing overall care and support, which may include assisting with personal hygiene. It can be a challenging environment, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience, and vigilance are important. However, it is highly rewarding to see people improve and know that you have made a difference in their lives.

Walcott House is part of our Learning Disability and Autism division and provides a specialist residential service for men and women with a range of learning disabilities, including autism and sensory communication impairments. The house provides spacious accommodation and communal areas. There are nine full en-suite bedrooms, two lounges, a sensory room and fully enclosed gardens.
