Job Title - Chief Administration Officer, Vanarama National League Reports to - Head of Football Administration of the Vanarama National League The National League System The National League is the highest level of the National League System (NLS) consisting of the fifth and sixth tiers of the English football league system. The League sits just below the English Football League and is responsible for the administration and regulation of 72 member clubs across the National League, National League North and National League South. In 2015 the Football Conference was rebranded to The National League and is known as the Vanarama National League. Job Purpose To support all departments of the National League, including the Football Admin, Finance, Commercial and Broadcasting departments and to ensure the smooth running of Footballing Administration on a day-to-day basis. Work closely with Board, member Clubs and stakeholders. Location Birmingham Office based (the League currently operates a hybrid model requiring attendance in the office 2 days a week with remainder home based. This arrangement is non contractual) Working hours - Full-time Contract type - Permanent contract Salary - Competitive salary Responsibilities Main areas of responsibility (included, but not limited to) Supporting the Football Administrative Team with operational activities, including checking team sheets, processing player registrations, and inputting data for handbook Organize and schedule appointments Plan meetings and take detailed minutes Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, and forms Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports Develop and maintain a filing system Update and maintain office policies and procedures Maintain contact lists Support the Stadium Power Grading System with full understanding of Grading Criteria Support Chief Operating Officer with delivery of the National League strategy project Assist Administering NL Cup Competition including monitoring fixtures and results Assisting the Football Administration Team with the delivery of all meetings and events Liaise with executive and senior administrative assistants to handle requests and queries from senior managers Person Specification Knowledge and Experience Advanced Proficiency in Office Software Professional Minute Taking and Report Writing Calendar Management and Scheduling Travel Coordination and Itinerary Planning Event Planning and Coordination Document and Presentation Preparation Research and Data Gathering Effective Communication and Interpersonal Skills Advanced Organisational and Time Management Problem-Solving and Decision-Making Discretion and Confidentiality Adaptability and Flexibility Teamwork and Collaboration Attention to Detail Desirable Experience of establishing effective working relationships, partnerships, and collaborations with a range of stakeholders.
