Position Overview:
We are seeking a Field Service Engineer I to deliver frontline support for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our products. This role is critical to ensuring customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform maintenance activities, including installation and commissioning, in line with global standards.
* Provide frontline support for key field service activities at customer sites.
* Conduct basic faultfinding and troubleshooting to resolve or escalate issues promptly.
* Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and safety protocols.
* Compile detailed reports and provide feedback on service activities.
* Set up, operate, and maintain software products and monitoring platforms.
* Accurately capture service-related information through established processes.
Qualifications:
* University degree or formal qualification in mechanical, electromechanical, or electronics disciplines.
* Previous field service experience in a relevant or related industry, ideally customer-facing.
* Strong customer focus with the ability to deliver solutions that meet expectations.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and self-directed work ethic.
* Ability to communicate effectively in both the local language and basic English.
* Proficient in using computer software for data recording and report writing.
* Understanding of technical documentation, including technical drawings.
Working Conditions:
* Shift work may be required to meet customer commitments and emergency coverage.
* The role involves a high level of physical activity; a medical assessment will be conducted prior to employment.
