The Role:
Gleeson Recruitment Group are recruiting on behalf of retailer seeking an experienced E-Commerce Manager to lead a growing team in a new UK market. This is an exciting opportunity to drive online growth and enhance the digital shopping experience for an established retailer in a new market. The successful candidate will have a strong background in eCommerce, people management, and strategic development, working to optimise performance and engagement.

Salary: 50,000- 65,000

Contract: Full time, perm, full time in office
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the eCommerce team, ensuring alignment with business objectives and maximising efficiency.
* Develop and implement strategies to drive online sales and improve conversion rates.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business, including product managers and marketing teams.
* Oversee the planning, execution, and optimisation of eCommerce initiatives.
* Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
* Manage budgets and financial planning related to eCommerce activities.
* Identify and implement new features and improvements to enhance the online customer journey.
* Analyse performance data and customer insights to refine digital strategies.
* Strengthen partnerships with suppliers and internal teams to improve collaboration.
* Lead the strategic direction of eCommerce within the UK market.
Candidate Criteria:
* Proven experience in eCommerce management, ideally within retail or a related sector.
* Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
* Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
* Self-motivated with a proactive and innovative approach.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive decision-making.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of current eCommerce trends, technologies, and best practices.
* Commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and financial planning.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Willingness to work full-time on-site in the company's UK head office.
