About the role

Most of all, we can offer you delightful, captivating, and enthusiastic children. Ofsted described our children as 'exceptional,' leading to behaviour and attitudes being graded as Outstanding (Nov 2022). This requires daily effort, excellent modelling from adults, and consistent compassion.
The successful candidate will be:
* Able to deliver high-quality English and Maths lessons to Key Stage 1.
* Able to plan, implement, and resource the full primary national curriculum within a well-equipped school.
* Able to build and sustain clear, consistent boundaries with unwavering commitment to strong, positive relationships.
* Reliable, skilled, and committed, willing to go the extra mile to make their class 'buzz.'

Keeping Children Safe in Education
Sandford St Martin's CE VA Primary School will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates. This check will be part of a safeguarding check, and the search will purely be based on whether an individual is suitable to work with children. All aspects of social media and internet searches will be conducted. As care must be taken to avoid unconscious bias and any risk of discrimination, a person not on the appointment panel will conduct the searches and will only share information if and when findings are relevant and of concern.
