Job Description:
As part of Pilgrims' Friend Society, we foster a supportive environment which respects and celebrates Christian beliefs. Our care staff provide holistic end of life care which focuses on emotional wellbeing. We aim to enhance the quality of life for our residents in different ways, including singing and reading the Bible with them.
We currently have opportunities for Care Assistants who are enthusiastic and motivated to join our Care Team, providing care 24/7 for our 32 residents, offering residential, dementia, and respite care.
Finborough Court is a modern and spacious home in the quiet, rural village of Great Finborough.
Responsibilities:
* Provide high quality, professional service of care to our residents.
* Help residents with personal cleanliness, such as assisting with bathing.
* Support residents to eat and drink.
* Treat others as individuals with unique and diverse needs.
* Treat our residents with dignity and respect.
* Support our residents to maintain independence and health, encouraging community involvement within the home.
* Get to know residents to offer comfort, assistance, and reassurance when needed.
* Assist with tidying, cleaning, laundering, and other domestic tasks as necessary.
* Assist in end-of-life care.
About You:
* You should enjoy working with older people and empathize with their needs.
* You should be able to work in a team and be willing to take on any task to provide excellent care.
* You should be well-organized, adaptable, and practical.

Hours:
20 hours per week
Bank shifts available (to ensure cover for absence, sickness, holidays, and relief).
