Bespak are looking for a Head of Quality Operations for the Holmes Chapel site, CW4 8BE. This permanent position offers a very competitive salary plus a discretionary annual bonus. Other benefits you will receive are 25 days leave plus bank holidays, a generous 10% pension contribution, and medical / dental / health / life assurance.
Working Pattern Monday to Friday usual working times of 8.30am to 4.30pm with an 8am to 4pm finish on a Friday. There is some flexibility on start and finish times.

As Head of Quality, you will be the driving force behind Bespak Holmes Chapel's commitment to exceptional quality. You will lead and manage Quality Assurance and Quality Control, ensuring compliance with cGMP and ICH Q10 standards. Your responsibilities include overseeing product maintenance, assessing new product opportunities, and spearheading the introduction of new respiratory products into manufacturing. You will also play a key role in site strategy and act as the main point of contact for regulatory and customer inspections, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and maintaining the highest standards of quality throughout the product lifecycle.
Bespak Holmes Chapel is an Investors in People silver award winner who employs over 300 people and are a pharmaceutical Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) that offers development and manufacturing solutions for a variety of medical products. Our products include medical devices such as pressurized metered dose inhalers (pMDI asthma inhalers), soft mist inhalers (SMI), dry powder inhalers (DPI), nasal sprays and medical check valves.
As the Head of Quality Operations, your duties will include:
Lead Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
Manage product lifecycle and maintenance.
Introduce new products to manufacturing.
Drive continuous improvement culture in a CDMO environment
Assess new product opportunities.
Ensure regulatory compliance.
Head of Quality Operations, beneficial key skills and experience:
Scientific qualification with QA/QC.
The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Person under current EU/UK legislation
Experience of participation in MHRA and FDA cGMP audits.
New product/process introduction expertise.
Validation experience in a related field.
Proven ability to manage a large team.
Strong leadership and communication skills.

Holmes Chapel is a beautiful village in Cheshire with excellent transport links via its railway station on the Crewe-Manchester Line. The village has a population of nearly 7,000 and offers various amenities, including supermarkets, shops, restaurants, schools, and a GP practice.
This position could suit someone who has experience in other roles such as Director of Quality, Quality Assurance Manager, Quality Control Manager, Qualified Person or Lead Quality Auditor.
