A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work as a Band 6 Physiotherapist within the MSK outpatient department at Llandudno General Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your MSK skills within the physiotherapy department. The post is full time and involves working one day a week within Rheumatology alongside an experienced physiotherapist. The Rheumatology hours will be worked from the nearby physio department based at Colwyn Bay.
The physiotherapy service in BCUHB offers a whole career pathway to Band 8A as an advanced clinical practitioner. Service improvement and development is encouraged, and all staff have access to regular supervision and training.
Excellent support, supervision, and in-house training provided.

Main duties of the job
To be professionally and legally accountable for all aspects of own work, including the management of patients in their care.
To undertake a comprehensive assessment of patients including those with diverse or complex presentations/multi-pathologies; use developed clinical reasoning skills and manual assessment techniques to provide an accurate diagnosis of their condition. Obtain clinical support and guidance from senior physiotherapists, clinical specialists, and advanced practitioners as required.
Formulate and deliver an individual physiotherapy treatment programme based on a sound knowledge of evidence-based practice and treatment options using clinical assessment, reasoning skills, and knowledge of treatment skills e.g., manual physiotherapy techniques, patient education, exercise classes, electrotherapy techniques, and other alternative options.
To take delegated responsibility from the Team Leader or Senior Physiotherapist for managing patients with particular conditions and be responsible for providing specialist physiotherapy assessment and treatment plans for patients with these conditions.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

* Degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy
* HCPC registration
* Membership of appropriate professional post-graduate training body
* Relevant Special/Clinical interest group membership
* Clinical educators course
Experience
* Significant Post Registration Experience
* Evidence of core rotations
* Experience of working in an NHS environment as physiotherapist and MDT/multi-agency working where relevant
* Experience of contribution to CNG or working parties
* Experience in the relevant speciality
