Job Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the daily operations of the hostel, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all residents.
2. Manage resident check-ins and check-outs, maintaining accurate records.
3. Provide support and guidance to residents, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
4. Organise and facilitate community events and activities to foster a sense of belonging.
5. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hostel policies.
6. Act as the first point of contact for residents, responding to queries and providing assistance as needed.
7. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of common areas and facilities.
8. Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the overall resident experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1. Proven experience in a similar role or within a customer service environment.
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups.
3. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy setting.
5. Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to hostel management.
6. First Aid certification is desirable.
7. A commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive community atmosphere.
