We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced care/support practitioner, to line manage our team of Support Workers within our fabulous residential service based in Elderslie.
At Wallace Court we support adults with physical disabilities, learning disabilities and sensory impairment, to live independently within their private accommodation on site. For the people we support, this is home. Our days are filled with laughter, with a focus on activities on site and externally, from football day trips to visits from traveling zoos, our service prides itself on being customer led.
Our close-knit team of Team Leaders helps our support staff to provide 24-hour support 7 days a week, and they require a motivated and enthusiastic leader to join the team.
Maybe you are an experienced Team Leader, Senior Support Worker or Support Worker with transferable experience, looking to advance your career.
Are you who we are looking for?
About the Role
You will be required to co-ordinate and supervise a team of support staff in delivering a high standard of social care practice using a person-centred approach that reflects individual customer's needs, wants, and aspirations. We have a set shift pattern, 39 hours per week, typically 5/7 on a 4-week rota so you always know when you are working; early, back and late shifts, as well as weekends and on call, which is planned in advance, enabling you to plan life outside of work responsibilities.
Working with Capability Scotland brings you lots of benefits:
1. Competitive salary - £34,142.00 per annum (£16.79 per hour).
2. We offer a fully funded SVQ – a qualification which is yours for life.

4. Free PVG checks throughout your employment.
5. Up to 8% company contribution pension scheme.
6. Up to 3 x annual salary death in service.
