Mid Cheshire Foundation Trust is committed to continuous improvement and to delivering high quality safe patient care for the population we serve. This new fixed term post is to ensure that we have the right workforce to deliver on this commitment.
Main duties of the job
The population served by Mid Cheshire NHS Foundation Trust is rapidly expanding. In addition, we have an aging population with increasingly complex health care needs. To meet these demands, the Division of Medicine and Emergency Care is looking to expand the Consultant workforce to support timely and effective delivery of inpatient and outpatient care aligned to our strategic four care model:
1. What's wrong with me? We provide the expertise, access and convenience to diagnose and develop treatment plans for our patients.
2. Fix me. We provide medical and surgical services to treat our patients and deliver optimal outcomes.
3. Helping people stay well. We work with carers, patients and their local community to keep them well.
4. End of life. We provide the best possible end of life care.
We are committed to Place-based care working in partnership with our local health and care partners to ensure that we deliver specialist care in the right setting and support care in the community and at home.
