Job Title: Domestic Assistant/Cleaner (Part-Time, Fixed Term)
We have a fantastic opportunity for a part-time, Domestic Assistant/Cleaner, to join our team based at Longton Health Clinic, Preston.
Please note this is a 3-month fixed-term contract.
Details:
* Hours of Work: 10 hours/week
* Rate: £12.36 per hour, Monday to Friday, 6am-8am
* Training will be provided
About the Role:
This role involves delivering a full cleaning service within NHS Property Services premises, following the NHS Property Services Domestic Services Operative Manual, scheduled times, policies, procedures, and detailed cleaning work schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure a clean environment for patient care, adhering to health and safety standards, NHS cleaning standards, COSHH regulations, PLACE audits, and NHS policies.
* Perform cleaning duties such as vacuuming, damp mopping, dusting, cleaning mirrors and glass, sanitizing sanitary ware, high dusting, floor maintenance, changing disposable curtains, and deep cleaning when necessary.
* Undertake legionella flushing and maintain records accordingly.
* Safely empty, clean, and transport waste bins to designated disposal areas.
* Follow NHS colour coding standards for cleaning tasks.
