Who we are… Biscuiteers is an award-winning luxury gifting brand, sometimes described as the ‘NET-A-PORTER’ of biscuits. We launched in 2007 with the mission to offer a more unique, stylish and personalised gifting solution under the banner ‘why send flowers when you can send Biscuiteers?’ Every single biscuit is lovingly made from start to finish and each one is totally individual. Our aim is to provide a seamless, joyful experience that delivers a little magic, one hand-iced biscuit at a time. In 2022, we hand-iced over 3.0 million biscuits and delivered them to customers all over the world. We’re ambitious and we’re looking to build and strengthen our wonderful team as the business continues to grow. Who we’re looking for… An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Kitchen Porter/Cleaner. The successful applicant will be able to work shifts of either 7am -3.45pm and 11am- 8pm on a rotational basis- Monday to Friday, however, we require flexibility on start times and at peak times. Working as part of a team and following strict health & safety procedures you will: Reporting to the Facilities and Maintenance Manager, this is a hands-on Kitchen role for our cleaning function in Unit 2 and Unit 5, comprising of our Patisserie, Production areas, and includes our public areas such as canteen, changing rooms, toilets, showers and office. Complete all the necessary cleaning activities and paperwork accurately and on time. To ensure the open up and locking up of the site securely at the open and close of shift and as required. To ensure all cleaning is undertaken to the standards set and aligned to food safety and health and safety legislation. Supporting production areas when and where needed. You will need Relevant experience and knowledge of cleaning operations in a food business. Good organisational and communication skills are required. Knowledge and experience of Food Safety, Health and Safety Procedures and COSHH regulations, preferred. Good attention to detail and proactive approach to cleaning. Enthusiasm for the role and a love of Biscuit A positive, proactive approach. This is a varied role with lots of opportunity to learn and develop. You will need… To be able to work under own supervision, be organised, and work well within a team. The ability to work well under pressure and use initiative. Basic knowledge of hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen. A can-do attitude and able to perform physical duties. To be punctual and reliable.
