What you'll be doing:
* Provide technical direction to engineers
* Support the development of individuals and teams to enhance skills and competencies, ensuring technical capability objectives are achieved
* Undertake assessments of functional design and provide qualification and evidence for acceptance, fitness for purpose, legislative requirements, and safety
* Support the delivery of safety cases
Your skills and experiences:
* CEng or equivalent level of capability, Degree in Human Factors or Psychology
* Previous experience of writing assessments and safety reports
* Experience in influencing and managing stakeholders at different levels

The Human Factors team:
This is an excellent opportunity to join the Human Factors team-Safety at BAE Systems. You will be part of a wider team of 17 professionals who strive for best practice and champion an outstanding internal culture. You'll manage 2-3 direct reports at varied levels, operating across different areas of safety within the Human Factors remit, providing variety in day-to-day business.
