An exciting opportunity has arisen as the Cardiac Physiology Non-Invasive Services Lead at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
We are seeking to recruit a clinically expert, enthusiastic, and motivated individual to join our multidisciplinary department.
We undertake the full range of cardiac diagnostic tests including Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing (CPET), Nuclear Cardiology procedures, exercise tolerance testing, and event monitor analysis working across hospital sites in Oxford and Banbury, as well as several community settings.
This position is ideal for a current band seeking to develop leadership and management skills and gain experience in service development.
Main duties of the job
Working with the Head of Cardiac Physiology, the post holder will assist in managing all Cardiac Physiology Non-Invasive and Nuclear Cardiology services.
The post holder will support the delivery of a high-quality, efficient service to patients and will supervise, guide, and support staff in their roles within the department.
The successful candidate will be expected to work as an independent practitioner and participate in training and appraisals of junior staff.
