Job Title: Fire Alarm Service Engineer
Salary: £36,000 - £46,000 (dependent on experience)
Earnings Potential: Up to £50,000 + company vehicle

Job Purpose:
We are looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of service and fault-finding experience. The primary focus will be on servicing and conducting reactive work on fire detection systems across Kent and South London. Experience with security, access control, and CCTV systems will be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Service and troubleshoot fire alarm systems, including conventional, addressable, and wireless systems.
2. Work on security alarms, access control systems, and CCTV (IP & analogue).
3. Maintain emergency lighting and ensure compliance with NSI codes of practice.
4. Stay updated with current industry standards and regulations.
About You:
1. Proven experience as a Fire and Security Engineer.
2. Strong communication skills and an enthusiasm for delivering high-quality service.
3. Excellent time-management and self-motivation skills.
Essential Skills:
1. Proficient with major fire detection brands (e.g., Gent, Vesda).
2. Knowledge of dual-com monitoring and various communication devices.
3. Familiarity with compliance codes such as EN50131, PD6662, DD243, BS4737, and BS8243.

Additional Information:
This role involves working at heights and can be physically demanding. A full UK driving license is required as travel to various sites is part of the job. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 5.00 pm, with an on-call rotation (1 in 6 weeks). NSSA Security Screening is necessary for this position.
