Job Description
The key responsibilities of this Accounts Payable Clerk role will be:
* Receive and review invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
* Code and input invoices into the accounting system.
* Reconcile vendor statements, resolving discrepancies as needed.
* Prepare and process payments to vendors within specified deadlines.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions.
* Assist in month-end financial close procedures.
* Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment-related issues.
* Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Accounts Payable Clerk will have:
* Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar accountancy role.
* Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
* Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills.
* Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with colleagues.
