Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £50,000 per Annum

The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role plays a vital part in the day-to-day operations of the business across the board, therefore this company focuses on maintaining an excellent environment for their dynamic engineering team.
As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, what you'll be doing:
1. Identifying failure modes of plant equipment and returning the equipment to operation safely and in a reasonable timescale.
2. Diagnosing and repairing equipment breakdowns.
3. Liaising with engineering day teams to identify and resolve long-term engineering issues.
4. Locating spare parts using the maintenance management system.
5. Collecting and returning spares to stores.
6. Identifying failure modes of electrical equipment and making recommendations to prevent further failures.
7. Obtaining maintenance schedules from the maintenance management system and feeding back work carried out.
8. Recording work arising using notifications.
What we'll need from you:
1. Experience working as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer within manufacturing.
2. Constant drive, enthusiasm, and self-motivation with the ability to motivate others.
3. Ability to work under pressure.
4. Accurate and timely reporting skills.
5. 3-4 years' experience of working within a similar environment.
6. Working knowledge of good engineering practices.
7. NVQ level 3 in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent City & Guilds or HNC) or equivalent.
