Salary: Grade D point 8-14 FTE salary range £25,992 - £28,624

As such, we are looking to appoint a SEND Assistant and Family Support Adviser (FSA) to our team. This is a varied and challenging role, yet highly rewarding, and your influence will be felt throughout the extended school community. You will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children, young people, and families.
Responsibilities:
1. Serve as the first point of contact for parents and carers, supporting and empowering them to address challenges.
2. Organize workshops or events to develop parenting skills and build relationships within the school community.
3. Assist the school SENCo with administrative tasks and paperwork.
4. Facilitate meetings and support families in accessing local services or assistance.
5. Improve parental engagement in children's learning.
The ideal candidate would have experience working with children or families. Knowledge of SEND systems would be useful but is not essential.
