Job Summary Roam are looking to add a new member to its growing finance team, based out of the Roam headquarters in Crawley, West Sussex. Reporting into the Financial Controller, this role is responsible for managing the monthly reconciliation of all projects and ensuring that the management/statutory accounts reflect accordingly, together with other ad-hoc business analysis as required to enable strategic decisions to be made. This role would also support in the development of business analytics reporting, with a degree of automation where possible to enable real-time updates and provide a management dashboard of key metrics & KPI’s. Duties and responsibilities Reconciling projects and performing reviews against budget Working closely with the Operations team to ensure costs are fully accrued for Working closely with Operations and Procurement to ensure that Stock is accurate and that future project builds have the correct stock available, and that future planned purchases for stock align with project plans Supporting with the preparation of management accounts to ensure that the project costs are correctly reflected and capitalised as required Supporting with balance sheet reconciliations relating to stock and assets Supporting with the year end audit and other external reporting as required in relation to project work Providing input to the cashflow forecast to ensure that all planned project spends are accommodated Skills and experience Strong financial experience (see qualifications requirements below) Experience of working in a high change / high growth environment Strong IT skill and proficiency with MS Office Applications; particularly Excel Experience of using NetSuite is preferable, but not essential Excellent interpersonal, organisational, time management and attention to detail skills Willingness to be flexible and develop within the role as the business grows Qualifications AAT/CIMA/ACCA/ACA - newly qualified or finalist with relevant experience Additional Information: Hours of work are 8:30 - 17:00 Monday - Friday This role is principally office based, with some flexibility available after probation completion Diversity matters At Roam, we value diversity and encourage individuals to apply, even if their experience doesn't align perfectly with the requirements.
