Hillside is a co-educational primary academy for children between the ages of 3 and 11 years. It serves the Maidenhall and Stoke areas of South-West Ipswich and has a richly diverse school community.
Hillside is well-established in the community and provides a broad education and aims to encourage each child to develop to their full potential, not only academically and socially, but in the arts and in sporting activities too. There are high expectations for the children and they are encouraged to explore, discover and question through exciting learning opportunities and the curriculum on offer. The staff team endeavour to provide a calm environment where good behaviour and mutual respect are modelled by everyone and everyone is valued.
Hillside Primary School also benefits from being part of the Active Learning Trust, a Trust keen to ensure that each of its schools retains its individuality and responds to the needs of its local community. We are looking for a Deputy Headteacher who will:
