As a Criminal Justice Recovery Coordinator with Change Grow Live you’ll work with people who use our services, helping them get to where they want to be.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Criminal Justice Recovery Coordinator to join our team part-time in Eastbourne.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting individuals on their recovery journey, working closely with them to rebuild their confidence, skills, and connections within their communities. With this role you’ll be working as part of the Criminal Justice Team, working across the county in CGL, Probation, Courts and Prisons.
No two days are the same and we treat every person who comes into our service as an individual, so being flexible, curious and a good listener are key.
You’ll have to record information about what you do, so enjoying a bit of paperwork and attention to detail is important. But most of the time you’ll be enjoying working with people from all backgrounds, making a difference to their lives.
Candidates with previous police, probation and/or prison vetting clearance are encouraged to apply. However, we welcome all applications, and successful candidates will be required to undergo the relevant vetting process.
Part Time Hours: 18.5 per week
Full Time Salary Range: £27,861.26 - £32,002.35 depending on experience (based on full-time working hours pro rata for part-time)
Fixed Term Contract until 31st March 2026
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Criminal Justice Recovery Coordinator, you will be at the heart of our services, providing personalised and meaningful support to individuals navigating the criminal justice system and their recovery journey.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Providing tailored support—guiding individuals from their first contact with us through to their recovery.
* Conducting assessments and recovery planning—ensuring that support is responsive to individual needs.
* Facilitating group work and workshops—creating opportunities for peer support and personal development.
* Working in partnership—collaborating with key agencies including prisons, probation, courts, police and other professionals operating within housing, social services, social care and health.
* Safeguarding and risk management—ensuring that all individuals feel safe and supported.
* Team work - being part of a fast-paced team with competing demands.

About You
We are looking for someone who:
* Has experience working in substance misuse and/or criminal justice settings.
* Is an excellent communicator—both written and verbal—with strong IT, administrative, organisational and recording skills.
* Has experience facilitating group sessions and working directly with service users.
* Is proactive and self-motivated—able to manage a caseload independently while contributing to a team.
* Works well with others—building positive relationships with both colleagues and external partners in all sectors, including the enforcement agencies.
* Understands the importance of safeguarding and confidentiality, ensuring a safe and respectful service environment.

* Please note Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
