Wind Engineer

Your responsibilities
* Join our growing Wind Engineering Team supporting an international portfolio of development projects.
* Support the delivery of our digitalisation strategy and tools.
* Strong hands-on Python development skills. Familiarity with development tools (Pycharm / Devops / Git). Experience with GIS & cloud-based deployments would be beneficial.
* Wind Resource domain experience (data-cleaning / meso-scale data / wind flow modelling / wake modelling / etc.)
* Work with internal stakeholders within Uniper Renewables to deliver successful digitalisation solutions.
* Support the Wind Engineering team in taking processes from ideas to concept, collaborating with Uniper’s software engineers and IT stakeholders.
* Undertake pre-construction energy yield work as project demands require. Experience with industry standard tools and methodologies.
Your profile
* University Degree in a relevant discipline.
* Demonstrate relevant experience in wind engineering and software development topics.
* Creative and open-minded individual, happy to be part of an international team.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Proven track record of international work experience and appreciation of cultural differences.
* Preferred primary office location Nottingham, UK. The role can also be a mixture of hybrid working.
* Business fluency in English.
