Accounts Assistant We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant with a primary focus on Sales and Purchase ledger to support the finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong numerical aptitude, excellent organisational and communication skills, and the ability to identify, investigate and resolve issues efficiently. Key Responsibilities o Work as part of a small team to ensure incoming receipts are properly allocated and any discrepancies and unidentified payments are investigated and promptly resolved through liaison with colleagues, Providers and Advisers within our Network. o Handle Adviser queries relating to commission payments. o Assist with the management of the Purchase Ledger, coding and processing purchase invoices, preparing weekly payments. o Provide administrative support to the Accounts department, including accurate data entry and filing. Skills and Qualifications o Some account reconciliation experience preferred. o Microsoft Excel at least to Pivot Tables and vlookup required o Previous experience of working with an Accounting software (Sage 50 preferred). o Good communication skills, both written and verbal. o Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy. o A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Miscellaneous o 8:30-5pm Monday to Friday in person working at our Basingstoke office. o Salary up to £27,000.
