About The Team & Role
Gloucestershire Employment and Skills Hub is a central source of information and support for residents and businesses across the county. We have an exciting new role to work with colleges, independent training providers, universities and employers to collect, analyse and disseminate existing labour market information for green/sustainable jobs and the skills needed by employers, develop a countywide green employment and skills strategy, coordinate delivery of skills provision, liaise with organisations working on this agenda to ensure co-ordination and the needs in Gloucestershire are met.
The role will involve working with employers to determine what green jobs they need to develop their businesses and which skills their staff need. The role will also involve working with Gloucestershire-based and national training providers to develop their provision to meet the needs of employers.
