Robert Half Technology are assisting the world's leading global fashion powerhouse to recruit a IT Support Engineer on a contract basis based in their London office.
Role
* The IT Support Engineer will be responsible for the proactive monitoring, maintenance and support/escalation of the incoming IT support requests either by email, phone or internal ticketing system.
* To work with site-based IT contacts, including training and advising where necessary to ensure Victoria based staff are fully informed and consistent.
* To develop support documentation where required to improve the user experience.
* To develop their skillset in-house with a clear progression expectation to higher levels of expertise.
* Provide on occasion out of hours support as required.
* To assist the Group Technology and wider Information.
* Any other ad-hoc work requests as determined by the Group IT Manager.
Profile
* The IT Support Engineer will ideally have c1-3 years experience with a proven track record of supporting complex disparate networks.
* Supporting all levels of the business users including VIPs, managing expectations and seeing a problem through.
* Proven ability to instigate, manage and deliver often challenging projects, both technically and from a management perspective.
Ability to support:
* All Microsoft desktop OS (Win7+)
* Microsoft Server 2008 and higher
* Active Directory
* Group Policies
* DNS / DHCP
* Microsoft O365
* WIFI technology
* Remote Connectivity tools
* Cloud based tools
* Collaboration tools
