Credit Controller - Global Retail Group

The Opportunity
We are looking for a Credit Controller to join a global retail business who have a portfolio of high-profile lifestyle, sports and fashion brands.
This is a full time 5 days a week office-based role in Watford. No hybrid working.
In the role of Credit Controller you will liaise with customers by phone, e-mails, and letters in respect of collecting debts and providing customer support.
Responsibilities include:
1. Recording all cash and payments collected and allocating the receipts against the right invoices and credit notes.
2. Liaising with Agents, Salesman, and customers in debt-related matters.
3. Involvement in Sales Ledger duties, updating sales ledger journals and reporting to management.
To apply
The right candidate should have around 2 to 3 years of experience in credit control within the retail or wholesale industry and ideally have worked for a similar business of scope and scale.
Must be an expert in Letters of Credit (LCs) and Bank Guarantees (BG).
Proficient in SAGE, with advanced knowledge in Excel spreadsheets and part qualified in ACCA, IAB, ACA, AAT, or CICIM.
Advanced knowledge in ERP software is also required.
