The Role: We are currently seeking a committed SEND Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work closely with the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator (SENDCO) at a reputable secondary school in Denton. As the SEND LSA, you will play a pivotal role in providing crucial support to students with SEND, ensuring they receive the assistance they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the SENDCO to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for SEND students.
2. Offer one-on-one support to students with SEND, both in and out of the classroom.
3. Assist in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
4. Provide feedback on student progress and help to maintain accurate records.
5. Support students in accessing the curriculum and educational resources.
6. Promote positive behaviour and engagement among SEND students.
