Position Overview: My client is seeking an NQ-4 Years PQE Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to assist their Private Client Team with deputyship and trust work. This role involves drafting Court of Protection applications, liaising with clients and case managers, managing statutory benefits and insurance applications, and assisting with annual reporting requirements. The successful candidate will have strong administrative and literacy skills, excellent time management, and the ability to work independently within a busy team. Key Responsibilities: • Draft Court of Protection applications and assist with deputyship applications .• Liaise with clients, case managers, and external professionals .• Apply for statutory benefits and various insurance policies .• Assist in the preparation of OPG annual reports .• Prepare spreadsheets of expenditure and financial records.• Engross wills and trust deeds .• Provide administrative support to the Court of Protection team .• Participate in marketing activities to promote the profile of the team. Requirements: Essential: • Qualified Solicitor (NQ-4 Years PQE) or Chartered Legal Executive .• Experience in deputyship and trust work .• Experience drafting Court of Protection applications .• Strong administrative and literacy skills .• Ability to work independently and manage urgent tasks efficiently .• Excellent time management and organisational skills .• Strong communication skills, especially when working with vulnerable clients .• High attention to detail and accuracy .• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems.
