The job role:
As an IES Category Manager for IBL (Imerys British Lithium), you will be responsible for implementing the Purchasing plans, within the framework of the BLI development project (including a new mine and a new plant).
You will: Work in collaboration with Project Managers and Stream Leaders in purchasing activities (Capex & Opex) for our project, being involved in commercial bid tabulations, contract negotiations and contract finalisation.
* Ensuring the proper implementation of the Sourcing Request tool,
* Implementing routines with the project team to anticipate the future actions,
* Coordinating with other purchasing categories as appropriate,
* Managing the sourcing in collaboration with the technical teams and relevant categories,
* Participating in the qualification of suppliers,
* Launching the tenders that are under her/his responsibility,
