The post-holder will be motivated, enthusiastic and a strong team player who strives to deliver the best possible outcomes for our learners with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND), barriers to learning and/or Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties (SEMH). They will deliver highly effective Teaching, Learning and Assessment throughout a timetable within Foundation Learning.
The role will involve maximising learners' potential to make positive progress towards their Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and/or personalised outcomes, aspirations and ultimately support sustainable destinations. The ideal candidate will have experience with working with learners with SEND/SEMH and have a specialist area of expertise that will benefit the department. They will promote inclusive practice, deliver high quality lessons and develop individualised teaching, learning and assessment approaches.
