Station Administrator x1 Central Group, based at Uckfield Fire Station
Station Administrator x1 West Group, based across the ESFRS stations at Brighton, Hove, Roedean, Lewes and Newhaven according to the individual requirements.
We are seeking x2 motivated individuals to provide a timely and high quality administrative service to the local Station Managers across x2 of our operational response Groups in our Service, to ensure the efficient, effective and professional running of the Stations.
Your duties will include booking in of crew activity such as home safety visits, data entry, procurement activities, producing standard correspondence, preparing documentation, greeting visitors, managing telephone calls, emails and post. You will also support and co-ordinate local initiatives and events.
You will need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be proficient in your use of IT and MS Office applications. You will be required to work on your own initiative and be comfortable to lone work on Station as needed. The ability to travel throughout the county is essential. You will receive a full induction into the role and on-going learning and development opportunities.

DBS and Non-Police Personnel Vetting
All roles at East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service will be subject to either DBS checks (minimum standard level) or a Police vetting process (the latter for roles based at Joint Headquarters in Lewes). The check will take place for the preferred candidate at the end of the selection process, before a final offer of employment can be made.
