Job Title: Economic Team Coordinator
Location: Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire (with flexible working options)
Salary: UP TO £18 p/h PAYE
Contract Type: Full-Time, 6 month contract
About the Role:
Opus People Solutions are seeking a proactive, organised, and dynamic Economic Team Coordinator to support the International Trade, Investment and Innovation Manager at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority (CPCA).This pivotal role ensures the smooth coordination and delivery of activities that drive sectoral economic growth across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to embed best practice and streamline team processes.
Manage the diary of the International Trade, Investment and Innovation Manager and coordinate with Executive Support across the wider organisation.
Support event planning and logistics, including booking and payment processing.
Prepare agendas, take minutes, and track action points for key team meetings in line with the delivery plan.
Assist in the planning and coordination of economy and sector-focused communication campaigns alongside internal communications colleagues.
Monitor and manage enquiry inboxes, ensuring timely triage and response tracking.
Conduct research and gather information in support of team priorities.
Maintain and update the property portal via the Evolutive CRM system.
Serve as the main liaison for Evolutive CRM account management and reporting.
Design and develop branded templates, presentations, and forms for use in internal systems.
Produce tailored reports and data extracts from CRM tools as required.Person Specification:
Qualifications and Knowledge:
Strong administrative and organisational background.
Excellent knowledge of office systems, project support, and team coordination.Experience:
Proven experience in economic development, ideally within a local or regional government setting.
Strong background in complex diary management and professional stakeholder communication.
Familiarity with CRM systems, ideally Evolutive, with the ability to manage data and workflows.
Capable of working independently, prioritising tasks, and delivering to tight deadlines.
Comfortable working in politically sensitive environments and across multi-stakeholder groups.
Desirable: Experience with copywriting, marketing or campaign coordination.Skills and Attributes:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including minute-taking.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data handling.
Flexibility and resilience in responding to changing priorities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other business software tools.
