This position requires a proficient Finance Manager to join a Transport & Distribution company on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's financial health and offering financial advice and insights to aid business growth.

Description
1. Oversee the financial operations of the company and ensure timely and accurate financial reports and practices.
2. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
3. Prepare and produce Monthly Management Accounts and liaise with external Chartered Accountants.
4. Lead budget forecasting initiatives and manage financial planning.
5. Coordinate tax and year-end audit processes, including Quarterly VAT Returns.
6. Conduct some Payroll and HR-related duties in addition to core Finance role.
7. Drive the company's financial strategic planning.
8. Monitor risks and manage the company's financial position.
9. Offer financial insights and guidance to the company's leadership team.
10. Ensure compliance with company's policies.
11. Supervise 2 Staff.
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
1. A degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
2. CIMA / ACCA Part Qualified / QBE.
3. Excellent organisational, leadership, and decision-making skills.
4. MS Office - Excel - Intermediate to advanced.
