Full-time and part-time SEN Teaching Assistant roles Long term SEN Teaching Assistant roles Immediate start available £75 - £110 per day For this SEN Teaching Assistant role, we are eager to speak to individuals who have a passion for education and the supporting of children. Any additional experience working with SEN children is desirable. This SEN Teaching Assistant role involves you supporting children with varying additional needs. Responsibilities will include liaising with the class teacher, reporting on children’s progress and assisting on trips and visits to local attractions. The SEN Teaching Assistant will report to the class teacher and will be supported closely by the SENDCO. The role of a SEN Teaching Assistant would suit someone who is looking for a challenging yet rewarding role in a specialist school environment. The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will have experience working with pupils with ADHD, Autism, SEMH, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia or EAL, and be able to manage their needs effectively. You will be passionate about education and ideally have experience in a classroom setting. You will need strong behaviour management, effective communication, patience and the ability to build professional relationships with both pupils and staff. The role of a SEN Teaching Assistant also requires you to have great flexibility and versatility to cope with the needs of the school.
