Job Purpose Broadcast and End-User Technology (B&EUT), within Technology Group, designs and develops the solutions the BBC requires for media creation, commissioning, planning and scheduling, and the authoring and management of metadata. We also own the provision of the end-user devices and experiences, networks, and remote access technologies which are used by everyone across the BBC. Our work touches everyone who works for the BBC and all of our output, and we're focussed on serving all audiences and delivering technology excellence for our colleagues. The Project Coordinator will play an important role in supporting project delivery across the department. Our projects range in size and complexity, you will work centrally to ensure that the P&PD team have the right equipment, resources and facilities to deliver. The role will be based in London and will require the successful candidate to travel (within the UK) as necessary. If you are keen to work in project management and broadcasting technology, this is an opportunity to work across a wide variety of teams, establish relationships, support the senior team in making the case for investment, setting the priorities, and developing the department. Working across the whole portfolio of projects you will work closely with the Head of Department and Head of Projects (Portfolio Management). Main Responsibilities Create reference documentation used to manage the teams and support preparation of relevant documentation (including finance cases, and reports). Provide a high quality, user-friendly document management system and ensure adherence to it. Organise and take notes and actions at meeting; chase progress on actions. Organise events for Programme and Project Delivery (P&PD) team. Organise travel arrangements Manage purchase orders, invoices, and assist with procurement activities. Manage timesheets, cost recoveries Support the booking of freelance staff, and the on-boarding of new team members helping them to access information and settle in quickly. Ensure departmental information is up to date and accessible. Are you the right candidate? Strong organisation and time management skills, with the ability to work across multiple priorities simultaneously. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Able to produce professional presentations and emails. Attention to detail and able to ensure documents are consistent in language, terminology and style. Experience and understanding of effective corporate reporting. Proactive and able to work on own initiative or as part of a team to turn ideas and strategy into tangible outcomes and processes.
