Are you passionate about making a real difference in a child’s education? Greenway Junior School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to join our team on a fixed-term contract until August 2025.

What we are looking for
• A good general education, including GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at Grade C or above.
• An NVQ Level 2 in Teaching Assistance / Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent).
• Experience working in an educational setting, supporting children's learning and development.
• Strong IT skills, with the ability to use a range of software to support learning.
• The ability to clarify and explain instructions, ensuring pupils remain engaged and motivated.
• A proactive and organised approach, able to plan and prioritise tasks effectively.
• A team player, able to work under the direction of the class teacher while also using initiative.
• A patient and compassionate nature, with a passion for supporting children’s progress and well-being.

Our School sits within a established cluster of schools, overseen by a Regional Director. The Details
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: GLF Specialist £26,272 FTE
Actual Salary: £19,368.35
Hours of work: 8.30am-3.10pm, 5 days per week (30min unpaid lunch)
