If you're passionate about histology and eager to advance your career, we would love to hear from you Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will perform routine biomedical investigations and participate in daily scientific and technical activities within the laboratory. Your role will involve processing various specimens, including microtomy, embedding, and immunohistochemistry, while adhering to standard operating procedures. You will also be responsible for maintaining laboratory equipment, managing stock control, and ensuring accurate data entry. Additionally, you will support cross-site working, participate in training and competency development, and communicate effectively with staff at all levels to maintain high standards of health and safety. Qualifications and Experience: • Foundation degree or equivalent qualification in a scientific field • Demonstrated competency at a Higher Medical Laboratory Assistant (MLA Band 3) level or equivalent • Significant experience working in histopathology or a similar pathology environment • Must have previous Microtomy experience • Excellent organisational skills • Effective interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines • Commitment to continuous professional development and learning Why work with Pulse?
