Description Responsibilities · As a QA Test Analyst you will be working alongside the LIMS development team, to ensure that changes and fixes made by developers meet all user requirements and are free of bugs. · Analyse user requirements and develop high quality test scripts which can be executed to test the acceptability of the delivered solution. · Be responsible for tracking the status of issues and working with developers and users to get the right solution in place. · Produce high quality documentation of all testing and test related communication. · Plan and carry out test scripts for new functionality, changes to existing functionality and bug fixes. · Plan and carry out regression scripts to avoid negative impacts to existing functionality. · Plan and carry out validation test scripts to support the system’s GxP validation. · Work with end users to carry out informal user acceptance testing. · Work on numerous sub-projects concurrently, managing your own workload, and working closely with other team members to prioritise workstreams. · Attend daily standup meetings feeding back issues/bugs/work completed. · Comply with all relevant SOPs. Skills, Education & Qualifications · Excellent analytical abilities, attention to detail, and troubleshooting skills. · Experience of validation and deployment of systems in a highly regulated scientific environment. · Experience working with the software testing lifecycle and terminology. · Experience in writing/executing test scripts. · Experience in testing in Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC). · Proven ability to manage a challenging workload using personal initiative to prioritise and adapt. · Strong desire to perform exploratory testing on your own initiative. · Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. · Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. · Proven ability to be flexible and work hard, both independently and in a team environment. · Good IT skills and experience of using various software packages. · Experience testing in different environments. · Customer and quality focussed. · Excellent oral and written communication skills with proven ability to simplify complex technical information for a business customer.
