Administrative Assistant
10 hours per week, Term Time
Permanent
£28,006 - £28,572 pro rata / £15.35 - £15.66 per hour (including Distant Islands Allowance)
We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to provide all aspects of clerical and administrative support within the school. Previous experience in general administrative and reception duties, dealing with the public, Microsoft Office packages, and management database systems is essential.
You must be highly motivated and have a flexible and positive approach to all aspects of work.
Your communication and organisational skills must be of the highest standard as you will be required to work on your own initiative and as part of a team liaising with the public, the pupils, the staff and parents. You should be able to uphold the highest levels of confidentiality.
You are required to hold a SCQF level 5 qualification in a relevant subject or where the essential qualification is not held a minimum of 2 years experience of working in an administrative role is required.
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and precision will also be some of your main strengths as these qualities are crucial within this role.
This post is subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme in respect of regulated work with children.
