Professor Charlotte Summers is seeking a Senior Secretary to be part of the VPD-Heart & Lung Research Institute that is at the forefront of biomedical research. As part of the VPD-HLRI team within the Department of Medicine, you'll contribute to our mission of advancing global heart and lung health. With 450 staff members, our Institute is committed to delivering impactful research to combat cardiovascular and respiratory diseases worldwide. The impressive sustainable building contains laboratories, a Clinical Research Facility (CRF), office space and an assortment of seminar and conference rooms. We have a vacancy for an experienced Senior Secretary within the Department of Medicine to support the Professor of Intensive Care Medicine/ Director of VPD-Heart & Lung Research Institute. The post will be accommodated in the VPD- Heart & Lung Research Institute on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus. You will provide comprehensive administrative support to Professor Summers and the role requires exceptional interpersonal, communication and organisational skills. Excellent word processing and IT skills are essential, as is a meticulous attention to detail. The successful applicant will be part of a friendly team responsible for running and maintaining a varied and busy office on behalf of Professor Summers.
