This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a start-up where your impact will be immediate and tangible.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design & Creation
Create original designs for rings, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, and hand chains, all aligned with our aesthetic and current trends.
Produce detailed sketches, technical drawings, and CAD designs.
Select materials, gemstones, and metals in collaboration with suppliers.
Oversee the prototype development process alongside artisans and production partners.
2. Collaborating with Founders
Work closely with the founders to bring their vision to life, blending your own creativity and flair into the process.
Present mood boards, design concepts, and samples, and incorporate feedback to refine ideas.
3. Trend Research & Innovation
Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, materials, and technologies in jewellery design.
Bring fresh, innovative ideas to keep Indigo Lune ahead of the curve.
4. Quality Control
Ensure all designs meet our high standards by working closely with manufacturers.
Oversee prototypes and final products, ensuring every detail is just right.
5. Occasional Support
Assist with merchandising and product launches, including curating collections and packaging.
Help out with logistics when needed to ensure a smooth process from design to delivery.
What We're Looking For
1. Proven experience as a jewellery designer, with a portfolio showcasing your talent, particularly in fine or fashion jewellery.
2. Proficiency in design software (e.g., Rhino, CAD, Matrix) and traditional hand-sketching.
3. A strong understanding of materials, gemstones, and metal types, with great attention to detail and craftsmanship.
4. Experience creating technical drawings and managing the entire design process.
5. Passion for the jewellery industry and a keen eye on trends and customer preferences.
6. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with both internal teams and external partners.
7. A creative, driven, and adaptable mindset, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in.
Bonus Skills
1. Experience in 3D modelling and prototyping.
2. Knowledge of production processes and packaging.
3. Familiarity with logistics and inventory management.
Why Join Indigo Lune?
1. Work closely with our founders and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the brand.
2. Be part of a dynamic and creative environment where your ideas and contributions genuinely matter.
3. Flexible working arrangements.
4. Competitive salary and exciting growth opportunities.
