Vision for Education are looking to appoint a full time inspirational and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), who is friendly and adaptable with good knowledge of learning across KS1 and KS2, with a willingness to be flexible and support across the school. The Higher Level Teaching Assistant will ideally have experience delivering the Read, Write, Inc phonics scheme. This role is varied and will involve supporting children in the classroom, in small groups and on a 1:1 basis starting September 2024 for at least the academic year.
The Role
We are seeking to appoint a confident work who has previously covered lesson plans set by teaching setting and has a good knowledge of expectations in school settings.
This opportunity can be either part time or full time in a Northampton primary with a team of welcoming staff to support you along the way.
Must have:
• Recent and relevant experience of working with children within an education setting, within a specified age range/subject area is essential.
• Previous experience delivering lessons or working in small groups.
• Strong initiative and ability to teach a class at primary age.
