We are looking for two Bank Housekeepers to join our team at Rachel House in Kinross.
Our Bank Housekeepers play an essential role in allowing us to maintain the highest service levels, even in periods of high demand.
These roles will suit individuals who are available and comfortable working on an ad hoc basis. Shifts available may vary and are not guaranteed.
Often, bank workers will cover shifts over peak times and periods, including Mondays and Fridays as our families may be arriving or leaving the hospice, over weekends and during holiday periods. However, all working patterns are considered, and we would welcome applications from individuals who could be available for any shifts between the hours of 7am and 6pm, Monday to Sunday.
Key duties include
* Helping to ensure a safe, welcoming, and clean environment for families, visitors, staff, and volunteers.
* Preparing our children and parents bedrooms for their stay with us
* Laundry
About You
* You will be kind, reliable, and friendly with good communication skills.
* Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience within a healthcare or commercial environment would beneficial but not essential as full training will be given.
* A good understanding of Health and Safety and Infection Control Practices is beneficial but not essential as full training with be given.
* Looking to work somewhere that genuinely makes a difference
