Position: Application Support Engineer / Software Support Engineer
Salary: Competitive starting salary 32K and benefits.
Location: Office-based in the Leicestershire area. Commutable from Coventry, Leicester, and Nuneaton.
Company Overview: Our client is a profitable and rapidly expanding Software House. They are looking for a Software Support Engineer / Application Support Engineer to join their busy Software Support team. Full training in the client’s software will be provided as well as formal SQL qualifications & certifications. Hours are 9-5, Monday – Friday (no shift work).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Previous experience of working in an Application Software Support / Customer Support role.
2. Experience in call logging and dealing with 1st-3rd Line Software Support issues.
3. Experience in working within a similar environment such as Enterprise, CRM, or Financial software.
4. Good SQL Server, T-SQL, the ability to write scripts and interrogate databases.
5. Software implementation – remote and onsite.
6. Some understanding of how programming works.
7. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
