Within this role, you will assist with the smooth operational running of refurbishment and cyclical painting contracts whilst holding the customer at the heart of what you do. The Business Support Administrator role: You will value first class customer service and enjoy facilitating strong working relationships within your immediate and wider teams, internally and externally to ensure the continued success of Ian Williams. Core tasks will include: Raising and Processing orders. Conducting various scheduled and reactive administrative tasks, including data input, invoicing, letter writing and multiple mailbox management. You will also be responsible for supporting the procurement and ordering of site materials, processing purchase order numbers, and taking queries from the client/customer whilst seeing your tasks through to completion/resolution. In addition to all the above, you will provide light reception and room booking services and be involved with weekly operational team meetings, as required. What will I bring to the Business Support Administrator role? Education to GCSE level or equivalent (to include Maths and English) You’ll have proven experience in a similar office-based role and will be confident in using various computer packages, including MS Office, Outlook and Excel (basic level). If you have worked in the construction industry, that would be beneficial. However, we are open to all transferable industry backgrounds. A pro-active and can-do attitude for a fast-paced, reactive office environment is an absolute must. The ability to assess priorities according to urgency to meet the demands of the business. Above all, you will be committed to ensuring a high level of attention to detail and understand the importance of accuracy in all you communicate.
