Position Summary We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Panel Leader. A day in the life of a Sensory Panel Leader In this role you will take leadership of our external panel made up of approximately 30 people. You will work closely with our Sensory Specialists to assist in data analysis and reporting for sensory tests. You will also be responsible for leading and supporting all sensory panel-related activities, ensuring the successful execution of sensory methods and best practices. Key Responsibilities: Manage sensory panels: Plan, lead, and execute internal and external panel sessions. Collaborate with the Sensory Specialists for seamless execution. Screen, train, and monitor the performance of panellists, providing timely feedback. Provide assistance on sensory tests: Administer sensory tests following the guidance of the Sensory Specialist and best practices. Manage products under test, including procurement, storage, and disposal. Ensure compliance with documentation tracking. Support internal tastings: Organize, prepare, and execute tastings. Summarize results for stakeholders. Provide sensory insights to R&D projects: Contribute to sensory analysis discussions. Support the analysis and presentation of sensory results. Assist in the development of category-specific sensory trainings. Implement good laboratory practices Promote and contribute to sensory activities: Improve sensory methods within the organization. Contribute to internal trainings. Maintain glossaries for product categories. What will make you successful? Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Sensory Science, Consumer Science, Marketing Research, Food Technology, Food Science, or related field. Supervisory experience in leading sensory laboratory activities or working with sensory agencies, preferably in the food, flavour, or beverage industry. Proficiency in MS Office and dedicated technical software. What You Need To Know What can we offer in return?
