Blair West are supporting One Utility Bill with a newly created role and the appointment of a Head of Risk & Compliance to guide the business and senior stakeholders through a journey to possible incoming regulation. The opportunity: Report to the CEO and sit within our senior leadership team. Initially, this role will be autonomous, and therefore, you'll be considering the strategy as well as implementing new processes. Researching and implementing third-party intermediary compliance requirements. Own the relationship and communication with regulators, and external bodies relevant to compliance and risk. Ownership and continuous improvement of the quality assurance processes across the business. Ensuring the sales process is fair and consistent across all sales channels. Implementing and owning a route for complaint escalation and investigation. Working closely with senior stakeholders on the ISO27001 accreditation. Owning company processes and documentation controls. Ensure compliance with all data protection regulations such as GDPR. Liaise and train other members of the One Utility Bill team on all things compliance & risk. You'll be the ideal candidate for this position if you're someone who: Experience working within a regulated industry such as utilities, financial services or similar. Ability to demonstrate experience in implementing regulation or regulatory changes in a previous role. Experience in working towards an ISO accreditation. Knowledgeable of GDPR and the role of data protection officer. Understanding of both B2C and B2B sales channels. Ability to work with all levels of stakeholders, from entry-level employees to board members.
